If you're anything like me, then you have combination skin. During the winter, my skin gets very dry and dull and in the summer it starts to get greasy and breakouts occur. Right now my skin is having a very hard time adjusting to this spring humidity and is starting to get those irritating break outs. Here's how I'm dealing with it.
1. St. Ives Apricot Scrub
This product has become my best friend 2 days a week. Usually I will use it on Sunday and Wednesday nights. This scrub is very rough on the skin, but is great to get all the old make up and dirt off. I recommend using this scrub all year round.
2. Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser
I love this product for the mornings. It has an easy pump to get the right amount out and you don't need too much. This cleanser is easy on the skin so it won't make your face red during the day.
3. Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control Moisturizer
This product has become my new obsession. I often get dry skin from putting on too much acne helping products in the spring so have to use a heavy moisturizer. But this product does 2 in 1. It helps fight acne while getting rid of all your dry skin products. This is a must all year round!
4. Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash
Acne washes are a lot like a scrub, but just a little less rough on your skin. I often get pimples in the early spring and summer. This acne wash is great to use every night and won't make your skin too dry. I use this at night because it does have products in it that could cause your face to look red after using it. I recommend using a moisturizer after applying acne washes to avoid dry skin.
These 4 products are definitely my favorite for this spring & summer. They are cheap and don't run out too fast! Try them out and see how you like them for yourself.
Xoxo, Sadie Lee
