7 New Nail Ideas to Try

All over the magazines you see stars with their nails done in very interesting ways! Unlike most people, they have a lot of money to spend on their nails and have people to them. Well if you're like the average person, you do your own nails. Getting sick of the same boring color? Well he's a way to change it up a bit! Don't be afraid to mess up. Practice makes perfect!

1. Stripes

Paint an opaque white base, let dry, and then add blue stripes in different shades using a thin brush. Add floral designs to the tips of nails for a tropical effect.

2. Studs

Paint an opaque white base, let dry, and then paint a bright color on top from the cuticle to the middle of the nail. Once dry, cover the seam with tiny gold studs using nail glue and a pair of tweezers.

3. Glitter

Paint a navy base, let dry, and then paint designs in a bright glitter polish using the original brush or a thin nail brush for finer detail.

4. Roses

Paint an opaque white base, let dry, and then paint circles with wobbly edges for roses and leaves. Once dry, use black polish and a thin brush to paint the floral outline overtop.

5. Deco

Paint a beige base, let dry, and then paint five upside down, narrow triangles in red polish from the cuticle to the middle of the nail. Once dry, outline the triangles in black polish with a thin brush.

6. Geometric

Paint an opaque white base, let dry, and then add black stripes in all directions for a geometric effect using a thin brush. For added edginess finish with a matte topcoat.

7. Jewels

Paint a deep red base, let dry, and then add crystals in a half moon shape using nail glue and a pair of tweezers (or stickers). Finish with a topcoat to secure stones.
